Westwood Park

Curving streets of 1920s bungalows.

Tucked between Ocean Avenue and Monterey Boulevard, Westwood Park is a planned 1920s residence park with curving streets, detached bungalows and a strong neighborhood association.

What it is like

The streets curve on purpose, which keeps traffic slow and the blocks quiet. Front lawns and hedges give it a feel you rarely find inside city limits.

Ocean Avenue offers everyday shopping, and City College and the Balboa Park BART station are close by.

The homes

Detached Arts and Crafts and Mediterranean-style bungalows, many with original details. Téa has sold on Plymouth Avenue here, and her buyers closed on a home here in 2026.
